Marble glue is used as the restaurant stone bonding material. Based on materials such as epoxy resin, marble glue has rapid curing characteristics and can be initially cured in about 10-15 minutes at normal temperature. Its high bond strength and shear strength can reach more than 15MPa, which can ensure the solid splicing of stone. Construction, in strict accordance with the main agent and curing agent 100:2-3 ratio to ensure the stability of colloidal properties. Through the precision sizing process, the thickness of the rubber layer is controlled at 2-3mm, so that the stone splicing is smooth and beautiful.

Project requirement

The restaurant decoration project has strict requirements for stone bonding. The adhesive should have high stability, can withstand the weight of the stone in daily use and possible external impact, and the bending strength should be more than 20MPa. At the same time, to ensure the durability of bonding, in the temperature -10℃ -40 ℃, humidity 30%-80% of the environment, no cracking, degumming phenomenon within 10 years. In appearance, the glue seam should be uniform and delicate, the width error is controlled within ±0.5mm, and the color is similar to the stone, which does not affect the overall beauty.

Outcome of settlement

The use of marble glue successfully solved the restaurant stone bonding problem. After professional testing, the shear strength of the bonding part reached 18MPa and the flexural strength reached 22MPa, far exceeding the project requirements. After the simulated environmental test, under extreme temperature and humidity conditions, the glue joint has no signs of cracking and degumming, and the durability is good. From the appearance point of view, the glue seam is uniform, the width error is controlled within ±0.3mm, the color and stone perfect fusion, to achieve the effect of both beautiful and practical, to create a high-quality decoration environment for the restaurant.
